NCLT Full Form-National Company Law Tribunal
NCLT Full Form – National Company Law Tribunal is a court in India that adjudicates issues linking to Indian companies. The tribunal was established below the company Act 2013 and was constituted in June 2016 from the government of India and is based on the recommendation of the Balakrishna Eradi team on the law relating to the liquidation and the winding up of companies.
The tribunal has sixteen seats, six at New Delhi (one being the chief seat) and two at Ahmedabad, one at Allahabad, one at Bengaluru, one at Chandigarh, two at Chennai, one in Cuttack, one on Guwahati’s, three in Hyderabad of which one in Amaravathsi, one in Jaipur, one in Kochi, 2 in Kolkata and 5 in Mumbai. Of the two new seats endorsed to be set up, one each in Indore and Amaravathi, the Indore seat is yet to be advised. But the Bench at Amaravathi, all the seats have been advised as division seats. Equity M.M. Kumar, a resigned Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court has been delegated leader of the tribunal.
